Happy Father's Day to my Dad!!
You've always been there to take care of the things I forget to deal with like oil changes and air filter replacing. Don't know what I would do without you.
PS Took me forever to find this picture because he is very camera shy.In other news my bedroom TV died. Now this thing was a TV/VCR in one and I have had it since I was a junior in high school. It has been to the Baylor dorms, every college apartment, my first "adult" apartment once I graduated, and then to my condo when I became a homeowner. I had kind of thought it would never die. But one morning I walked into the room and Good Morning America wasn't on anymore and no amount of hitting the power button brought it back. Since my next TV is going to be wall mounted I had a nook in my bedroom to fill.
Up till now my "home office" has been in the guest bedroom (and I totally do not work from home so except for the infrequent blogging I barely use this space). I'm not a huge fan of this set up, but you do what you can when you're working with a small space. Well now I can move said office to the nook and have my guest room be only for guests (and extra storage space because I really cannot just leave those closets empty, come on). Below are the results of my home office switch-a-roo.
Home office before, in the guest room.
New home office set up in my bedroom.
Up close of the new desk set up in the nook.
For now the desk remains and serves as my scrapbooking spot (which also happens infrequently) since I cannot move this piece of furniture down the stairs by myself. I'll just have to wait until my Dad visits so he can help me move it out and take it with him when he leaves.
Eddie watched the proceedings from the safety of his tent which has also been moved since now my feet have to go under the desk in the nook.
That's all for now! Later.
